Cant have any long term downsides to not doing a knee flexion only exercise right?
I don’t think it’s a requirement

Should you work on having a strong shoulder press too if you're trying to gain strength in bench press? (edited)

Is that cause itll help manage the heavy loads you're gonna put your shoulders through when you control the weight benching?

I was just thinking about it while bench pressing rn

Also, would it be fine to do it after bench pressing or should I did it separately when I'm more fresh?

Bench is a compound exercise you're not only using your chest when benching. You're using your back, shoulders, triceps and legs. So if you want to increase your bench to its fullest potential you need strong shoulders

Ive seen some people warm up their lats too before bench pressing, would that be something you would recommend as well for heavy benching? Or just depends on the individual
