When i was trying to gain weight I used to make the mistake of trying to eat too clean, or I would eat foods too bland, the typical bb diet because back then that was what was on youtube and broadcasted to me as the best way to go about it as all the bodybuilders did that. But yeah, doesn't work

He's just not consistent I think. Genuinely, he's obviously not good at building muscle genetically, but a lot of it I think is purely down to inconsistency and fucking around too much. He also makes a lot of money and gets clout for who he is and what he does, so he probably cba to get bigger too. Look at how he trains when he's in the gym you can tell he doesn't want to be there just by looking at him, he barely trains hard. 100% doesn't eat enough or he'd be gaining size, and he's gained no size. So for him, lack of consistency with the fundamentals - training hard enough, eating enough food

What is the no hang protocol?
So you allocate 10 mins a day to just doing no hangs (feet still in the ground) and you do that for roughly 10 mins, 10s on, 20s off (repeat 21 times) Then rest for 6 hours. You don’t have to hang though, all you need to do is load the part of the body you want to help strengthen - tendon-wise - submaximally and without any fatigue for this same period twice or three times a day. If you suss the study - it shows that after 10 mins the sinews they tested stopped reacting to stimulus after 10 mins and then needed 6 hours to rest before they would react to more stimulus to growth This should also be combined with taking collagen 45 mins (or gelatine 60min) + vitamin c prior to your 10 min workout to maximise collagen synthesis (up to 2x greater synthesis) which is referenced in a different study (reference 48 I think or 46) All of this is to say that your tendon health gets much, much better. I’m starting to layer in other stretches between the main ones just to see if I can get some added value in. As well as hands I’m doing some legs and working on my wrists, as well as applying a magnesium moisturiser at night on my lower arms. One this I did change with the no hangs, because I’m interested in doing muscle ups - I do 6 10s holds with a false grip, the first few days it felt really bad but it’s actually starting to feel like I have some power in the grip now which feels counterintuitive because I’ve done no false grip work at all with actual pulls
