https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8369499/#S9 Cannabis does have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help with recovery after workouts. But, the thing to remember is this will only be short term reduction in inflammation which does not benefit long term recovery (recovery takes days), so having cannabis is unlikely to improve your recovery capacity significantly. And like avocado said about sleep, well I believe it is actually THC that interferes with sleep rather than CBD, and obviously that is a problem if you cant sleep because sleep is more important for recovery than practically anything, aside from nutrition lol. But, then again the half life of THC would mean it depends on when you were to take it in regards to whether or not it would impact your sleep. Basically CBD wouldn't be an issue, but THC would, espcially nearer sleep time.

Long term heightened cortisol can interfere with gains, cortisol in general doesn't interfere with gains. It's all about how much you are producing and for how long those levels are staying heightened for

Yah. I understand that, its just sometimes my stress levels are so high i literally cant bring my self to workout, i usually use working out as the cope. So, that can be an issue
